In the more than fifteen years since it’s conception, KEMCO has been well known for its quality embroidery products consisting of edges of various sizes, allovers, galloons, flounces, and insertions.

All of our embroidery comes blind (no eyelet) or bohred (with eyelets).  The embroidery can be done on house goods or customer goods to meet their specific needs.  Our patterns can vary from very simple to highly elaborate and often are custom designed specifically for the customer.

Edges
Edges are embroideries with a scalloped edge on one side only. They range in size from ½” up to 28”. This is the most versatile product we manufacture and is used in many different products such as trim for pillowcases and shams, dust ruffles, curtains, decorative pillows and many other home furnishings.  Edges are also used in baby and infant bedding, layettes, bassinet covers, christening dresses, toddler and children’s clothing. In apparel it is used for teen and ladies blouses, skirt trims, lingerie and dresses.

Allovers
Allovers cover the fabric with embroidery from selvage to selvage some with bohring and some blind.  They range in size from 45” (which is the primary width) up to 90” and sometimes wider depending on the fabric. Allovers are used for the body of eyelet curtains, baby and infant bedding, duvet covers, table covers, as well as women’s wear and holiday accessories.

Galloons
Galloons are embroideries that always have a scallop on both sides (top and bottom) with embroidery throughout.  They come in various sizes ranging from 1/4” up to 45” depending on the need. Galloons are used for sheets, towel trims, baby and infant wear (sometimes with ribbons woven through it). They can also be used for trim on many items such as holiday accessories.

Flounces
Flounces are embroideries that have a scalloped edge on one side only . They are primarily 45” wide (sometimes wider).  Flounces are used for eyelet curtains, ladies wear and anything requiring a scalloped edge with embroidery throughout the piece.

Insertions
Insertions are embroideries that have guide lines on the top and bottom enabling them to be sewn into the finished product.  Insertions are used in sheet trim, pillow cases and other bedding, accessories and apparel as well as baby and infant wear.
